The GeoVISION brand of borehole video camera systems was born in 1989. At the time there were no small portable systems on the market. Driven by friends who were hydrogeologists, Frank Marks, owner of Marks Products, Inc. began developing the GeoVISIONTM line. From the beginning, design was driven by geologists and over the years, cameras were designed and redesigned to produce optimal images in any environment while operating depths continued to increase.

In 2011, Marks Products’ Plant Manager formed Allegheny Instruments, Inc. Allegheny Instruments purchased Marks Products and took over production of the GeoVISIONTM brand of borehole video camera systems. Frank Marks continues to be an innovative force in the industry and provide invaluable assistance on all fronts.
